Nebahat is a Turkish scientist with a PhD in Plant Breeding and Biotechnology from the
Cukurova University, Turkiye. She has worked as an Agricultural engineer, Research Assistant, Assoc.
Prof. and full Professor at the Cukurova University Department of Horticultural Science. Before joining
our lab, she was full professor at Cukurova University, and worked 1 year at North Carolina State
University Department of Horticultural Science and a few months at Rutgers University Department of
Plant Biology as a Visiting Scientist, and 15 months at INRAE-GAFL (Genetics and Breeding of Fruit and
Vegetables), France as a researcher on plant breeding and genetics, plant genetic resources, plant tissue
culture, doubled haploidization technology, polyploidization, F1 hybrid breeding, vegetable growing and
cultivation techniques.
