Elijah is interested in using synthetic biology to improve current industrial yeasts and studying non-conventional microbes for their industrial chemical production potential. He’s originally from Kingston, Jamaica. Elijah received his bachelors from Cornell University where he double majored in  Biological Sciences and Chemistry & Chemical Biology.
