Cesar’s work focuses on the structure/function relationship of proteins, with a broad interest in biotechnological applications. He joined the Avalos lab to apply structural biology to protein and metabolic engineering. Originally from Venezuela, he received his Ph.D. from the Autonomous University of Madrid, and then moved to New York University in Abu Dhabi before joining our lab.
