Azhar is currently working under the guidance of Krishi on process simulation of the SaBRe process for his senior thesis, evaluating pathways to convert sargassum biomass into sustainable fuels and value-added chemicals. His work focuses on understanding the techno-economic and environmental tradeoffs of different process configurations within the SaBRe system. He is from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and is an undergraduate majoring in Chemical and Biological Engineering at Princeton University.
