About
Bio/Description
Adham is interested in applying synthetic biology and bioengineering to design biological systems that address challenges in sustainability, human health, food systems, and more. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, he received his B.S. in Biochemistry from Tufts University, where he conducted research in Dr. David Kaplan’s lab at the Center for Cellular Agriculture. There, he worked on cultivated meat, combining tools from tissue engineering and synthetic biology. Adham is excited to engineer biological systems—including yeast, algae, and mammalian cells—for the next generation of biotechnology. Outside the lab, he enjoys rock climbing, playing tennis, and golfing (albeit quite poorly).
